April 2014 – Tuna, Peanut Butter, Mac & Cheese

When someone is unemployed, and not sure how they’ll pay their rent or car payment, food assistance goes a long way.

Imagine having to choose between paying rent and cooling your house on a 100 degree summer day or feeding your child. This is where The Pantry assists the most.

Every week they feed about 800 people!  This is amazing!

Fresh bread and other food staples are usually provided, but it seems they’re always running short on tuna, peanut butter, and macaroni & cheese.

We helped The Pantry back in 2012 and we can’t wait to do it again!

The plan for this month is to give The Pantry as much tuna, peanut butter & macaroni and cheese as we possibly can.

How can you help?

1) Donate! Give what you would have spend on food in a day so others can eat in your place. Go to h4ad.com/give to give. Proceeds will go toward the purchase of these products.

2) Volunteer. The Pantry needs 50 people every Saturday to help distribute food. They’re in Douglasville, Georgia. If you’re in the Atlanta area, it’s an amazing experience you just won’t forget.  Simply show up at 8 a.m. any Saturday at 5960 Stewart Parkway in Douglasville and tell them you’re ready to help!

Let’s show some hurting people love this month!
