December Project!

This year, we’ve had 11 successful projects.  This December, we’re asking you to give to support our operational costs in 2014. Over 90% of 2013 project giving went to our partner organizations – and we want to maintain that.  We need your help!

It’s been a jam packed year for us, and I’m sure your lives were just as busy.  As you sprint (or maybe crawl, maimed and bruised) towards 2014, we at Hungry For A Day wanted to take a moment to celebrate, reflect, and give our thanks.

2013 was an amazing year where our organization, thanks to YOUR direct support, was able to feed thousands upon thousands of needy men, women, and children. The stories and moments of the outpouring of love and generosity are too numerous to re cap here in this posting. We successfully were able to support several food pantries, an orphanage, feed dozens of homeless teenagers, host a dinner for veterans, feed thousands in Detroit, MI., partnered with a church in New England to raise over $30,000 for a local food pantry, and most recently help distribute over 100 Thanksgiving meals to needy families. In 2013, H4AD went above and beyond even the borders of the United States and supported hunger relief projects to both India and Kenya. We also partnered with two churches to help them make a huge impact in their communities. These are just a few amazing stories.

Simply stated – We could not have done any of this without YOU! Thank you!

As we launch into the new year upcoming, the needs remain great. Needy people look to organizations like H4AD with outstretched arms. They need food. They need shelter. They need love. Our organization wants to be there to meet them at their most crucial moments of need.

If you a leader of an organization that is looking for creative and impactful ways to reach your community like never before, we want to hear from you! We are actively building generosity campaigns to help equip organizations, such as yours, to do more than ever to meet the ever challenging needs of your community in 2014. Learn more HERE.

Secondly, it takes a lot of sweat and tears to successfully run a Charitable Organization such as Hungry For A Day. It also takes money. We need to raise $5,900 in order for our organization to run in 2014. Our request is simple. Help us help others. We are an IRS approved 501(c)3 charity so donations to us are tax deductible. We would consider it an honor for you to partner with us financially towards our operating costs goal for the upcoming year. Give HERE.

Winston Churchill said “You make a living by what you get; you make a life by what you give.”

Live generously in 2014. Let’s join together and impact our communities and help to positively build the lives of others.  You won’t regret it for one single moment.

Thank you for making 2013 a year to remember!
